From the first day you will have a welcome team as part of the Tutorial Plan that is designed to help you adapt to university life.
You will be assigned a tutor each academic year, who you can speak to if you need advice or guidance. Some of your tutor’s duties include:
In addition to the Faculty’s tutors, the University offers students the University Guidance Service (SOU). This service aims to support and assist you in making decisions that affect your academic performance and personal well-being.
It also has a psychology section for student consultation. Any type of problem or concern - whether emotional, social or academic - as well as the desire for personal improvement and development, can be a good reason to come to this consultation, where you will be attended by a doctor of psychology free of charge, anonymously and with total confidentiality.
The university must be open to internal social problems and those of its social environment. For this reason, it should promote specific measures to encourage the integration and real equality of opportunities for people with educational needs and carry out appropriate actions to enable their access to higher education under equal conditions and their integration within the university community.
