Xianfa Liu holds a Master of Arts in Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature from Tianjin Normal University, China. He currently teaches Chinese language at the Language Centre of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, University of Deusto. He teaches Chinese language on the BAs in Modern Languages and Modern Languages and Management; he teaches a course on Executive Skills Development VI at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Bilbao campus. He is also a coordinator of the Chinese Official Exam (HSK) at Deusto’s Language Centre. He has worked in Colombia, Chile and China for the past few years. He taught Chinese language at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Deusto from 2011-2013 on a Hanban(Confucius Institute Headquarters) scholarship. His main areas of interest are Chinese philosophy, language and literature.
