Cinema Afternoons

Deusto Campus presents a new edition of “Cinema Afternoons”, an activity focused on audiovisual art in a unique cinema-forum format, open to participation by the entire university community.

One Thursday of each month, at 18:00 at the Deusto Campus premises in Bilbao, we will screen films related to one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. After each screening, an open discussion will follow, providing a space to share impressions and ideas about the film and its themes.

At the end of the series, a projector will be raffled among those who have participated in the sessions held during the semester.

Deusto Natura Mountain

Deusto Campus is launching Deusto Natura Mountain. Every month we will be organising an excursion to different mountains across our region.
We will travel by public transport using your personal Barik card. We will be guided by monitors. You should bring your packed lunch, water bottle, and any accessories to make the journey easier.

As a work of the Society of Jesus, we celebrate Earth Day together with other nearby Jesuit institutions (schools, Alboan, Egibide, etc.). This year, the event will take place on 6 October 2025. More details coming soon.

Klimabai Competition!

To assess the environmental awareness and commitment of a trained and empowered group. To identify and analyse the obstacles that prevent changes in attitudes and everyday habits that have an impact on climate issues.

The competition is open to the entire university community (students, teaching staff, and administration and services staff) at each of the four universities located in the Historical Territory of Gipuzkoa. Entries must be submitted individually via the Klima Bai! app and web platform.

The competition will run for a month, from 14 September to 26 October. Each thematic block can be completed at any time up until the end of the competition.

5 thematic blocks, each containing 10 questions and 4 challenges, with the possibility of earning up to 500 points. 1 final challenge on the role of the University in the fight against climate change.

The registration period will begin following the announcement of the competition on 14 September. The competition, which consists of five thematic sections, will begin on 14 September and end on 26 October. The maximum duration of the competition will be 10 hours.

Anyone interested in taking part can enter the competition at any time before it closes on 26 October.

Entries must be submitted online via the competition’s website (http://klimabai.eus) by completing the short form provided for this purpose.

The winner of the exclusive prizes will be selected according to the assessment criteria established by the Klima Bai! competition’s judging panel. Unibertsitateak.

The prizes will be awarded following the completion and evaluation of the competition, at a final event to be held at a later date.
