DeustoForumWe talk about what really matters

about Deustoforum

DeustoForum was born in 1989 with the aim of becoming a meeting place closely linked to society. At that time, we were experiencing profound social, political, economic and cultural changes, and it was particularly timely to have initiatives to promote dialogue and calm confrontation of diverse views.

This argument still holds true today; we live in a world of rapid change, driven by major socio-political, economic and health events. Therefore, the challenges we face as a society make it more necessary than ever to meet, reflect and discuss with the rigour of a university institution.

DeustoForum is yet another example of the University of Deusto's commitment to transferring the knowledge generated in its teaching and research activities to society. All of this with the aim of building a better society for all.

We talk about what really matters

More than 30 years as a space for reflection and plural and respectful dialogue. The pandemic has increased the pace of change, as well as the complexity and uncertainty of our reality, thus highlighting the convenience of giving a new impetus to this type of initiative.
