In adittion to your studies

ENJOY THE ART

If you are a person with artistic interests, this is the place for you. We are convinced that art helps us to open up and transcend our everyday feelings towards deeper forms of our own sensitivity. Therefore, paraphrasing a famous thinker, our motto is: Dare to feel!

A CREATIVE COMMUNITY

At the beginning of each semester we offer you the possibility of joining our training programmes linked to the arts: singing, dance, drawing, public speaking, literature and theatre. In other words, we offer you different spaces and times to enjoy art in a group, developing and building your own skills and talents.

WHICH REVOLVES AROUND THE ART

In addition to our training project, during the year there are different opportunities to meet around art. If you are interested in attending our own events as an audience or if you have a cultural proposal that you think we could include in our programme of concerts, competitions, exhibitions, conferences, theatre shows, etc., please do not hesitate to contact our team.

DEBATE CLUB

Our club aims to promote debate in different formats both within the university, accompanying and leading the processes of initiation to debate of our fellow debutants; and outside the university, representing the University of Deusto in external leagues with other universities or parliamentary simulations where debate is the main protagonist.

Our academic debate leagues are a space and a time for universities that share the mission of promoting the art of argumentation and critical thinking to meet.

EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS

During the academic year, the veteran students who form part of the debate club represent the University of Deusto in multiple academic debate forums organised by other universities and external agents, such as the university debate league in Basque or the student debate forum on public policies on equality.

Over the last few years we have developed different parliamentary simulations that complement the theoretical classroom training through an innovative and entirely practical format based on our local and international institutions.
