Transfer and innovation
At the University of Deusto we develop and promote quality research and efficient management of the transfer of knowledge and technology to the market in order to contribute to the advancement of technological knowledge and development, business innovation and competitiveness, the improvement of citizens’ quality of life, and economic and social progress.
To achieve a real and effective transfer, we have a set of foundations, business incubators, co-working spaces, utility models and laboratories, such as Innogune, Deustokabi, Orkestra-Basque Institute of Competitiveness and Deusto Fablab, consolidated as solid links between the university and businesses.
These centres and services channel and promote the innovative ideas resulting from research projects towards spin-offs and the creation of businesses in various sectors, paying special attention to the link with the local production system.
