MERTXE LUZURIAGA GABIÑA holds a BA in Basque Philology, Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, and a BA in Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy and Education, University of Deusto. She is currently a Lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus.She teaches first-year Basque Language I and II on BA courses in Modern Languages and Modern Languages and Management. She also teaches on the MA in Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, Specialism in Basque Language and Literature (3 ECTS credits, in Basque). Her publications mainly focus on Basque language teaching.
