edurne.bartolome@deusto.esEdurne Bartolomé Peral has a degree in Sociology (Deusto 1998) and Political Science (UPV 2001), and has a PhD in Political Science and Sociology (Deusto 2008). Currently, she is PhD lecturer at Deusto University, where she teaches (degree) General Sociology (Social Work, San Sebastian), Research Methods and techniques (Social Work, Communication, San Sebastian) and Social and Cultural anthropology in English (Social Work/Humanities/Modern Languages/Modern Languages and Management). She also teaches in the Erasmus Mundus Master Programs of Sustainable health Systems (REGHEALTH), Migrations and social cohesion (MISOCO), and she is also lecturer in the PhD programs of Social Science and International and intercultural Studies. Her main publications are related to attitudes toward the State and political Trust in comparative perspective, in journals such as DEMOCRATIZATION (2013 forthcoming), STUDIA SOCIOLOGIA (2011), REVISTA ESPAÑOLA DE CIENCIA POLÍTICA (2012), CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF DEMOCRACY WORKING PAPERS (2008, University of California Irvine), and diverse book chapters.She belongs to the Social Values research teams, and she is in charge of several research projects on social trust.
