Holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and Letters (History and Societies) from the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. He is a theoretical methodologist with a background in Education and Social Sciences. He lectures on History of Political Thought, Ethics and Values; Critical Options in the Face of the Challenges of a Global World, and Practices I and II in Modern Languages and Management, at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Deusto (UD). He was a tenured professor and researcher in Sociology, Art History, Urban Planning History, and Scientific Research Methods (Metacognition) at the Catholic University of Táchira (UCAT, San Cristóbal - Venezuela). He has been an honorary researcher at this university since 2018. He is the author of books such as San Cristóbal Urbs Quadrata (2003), Mors Memoriae or the Extinction of Memory (2011), Dictionary of Historical Toponyms of the State of Táchira (2018), and Sacred Art in Táchira (2018), among others. He publishes articles and scientific dissemination essays including History and Art of a Romanesque Revival Architecture in Latin America (2020), Táchira Geology for Beginners (2020), and Urban Planning in Three Times, Foundational Magna Carta and Laws of the Indies (2023), The Cathedral of San Cristóbal (2025), among others. He is the creator of the educational knowledge dissemination platforms (online) Art Experience Project and Táchira Heritage. He is a visiting professor in the Master's Program in Architecture, City and Identity of the Department of Architecture at the National Experimental University of Táchira (UNET, San Cristóbal).
