jose angel achon insausti

José Ángel Achón Insausti holds a BA in Arts and a PhD and in History from the University of Deusto, and is Chair at this same university. His area of knowledge is ¿History of Thought and Social and Political Movements¿ and his main research area is the ¿History of Culture and Idea¿s. His work focuses on the political culture in the Basque Country from the late Middle Ages to present. He has also taught subjects such as "History of Political Thought", "Modern History", "Interpretative Frameworks for Today´s World" or "Citizens for Social Change". He belongs to the Communication department and "Euskal Gaiak/Estudios Vascos" research team.
