José L. González-Pernía holds a PhD in Business Competitiveness and Economic Development from the University of Deusto (San Sebastian, Spain) and a Bachelor degree in Public Accounting from the Catholic University of Táchira (San Cristóbal, Venezuela). He is currently an Associate Professor at Deusto Business School. He has taught courses on business strategy and entrepreneurship at both undergraduate and postgraduate level since 2011. He has also taught doctoral level courses on entrepreneurship research and quantitative analysis techniques. Additionally, he has been invited as professor to teach entrepreneurship courses to graduate students at CEIPA Business School and the School of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, both based in Colombia.
