In this degree programme, you will learn to master a wide range of physical and sports programmes, as well as their psychological, technical, sociological, tactical, and organisational aspects. Upon graduating with a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, you will be specialised in:
If you are someone with an interest insport and physical activityat all levels, and you believe that these aspects are fundamental toeducation andhealth, you can turn all of this into your profession. For this reason, this degree programme is specifically designed for you.
You will study in Spanish or Basque at the Bilbao Campus and in Basque at the San Sebastian Campus. If you complete at least 144 credits in Basque, you will be able to obtain
the C1 language profile in Basque.*(*BOPV - Decree 47/2012).
This qualification grants you access to the Master's programme that will enable you to work as a teacher in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate studies and Vocational Training.
Compulsory internships in schools, sports clubs, gyms, federations, etc.

On Saturday 11 February you can come to the campus and get all the information you need to help you choose your degree.
The academic staff on the degree are experts in each subject and each sport. They give us ongoing support and explain the course content, while leaving us room to work on our own creativity.
I like subjects in the social sciences field and seeing how sport influences human beings in all their aspects.
It is interesting to note the variety of professional fields in which one can work: sports training, health-oriented physical activity, teaching...
More than 13,000 m² dedicated to sport on the Bilbao campus. The sports complex, built under the football pitch, has 3 paddle tennis courts, 3 basketball courts, 4 gymnasiums, fitness room, 6 rooms for other activities, athletics track, etc.

The University of Deusto boasts a long tradition in the education of professionals in the world of education, health, leisure and management. We can also say that it is currently the only university that offers the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences in Biscay and Gipuzkoa, and it is the only private centre that offers it in the Basque Country and neighbouring territories.

In the last year of your degree, you will do an external internship, where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt. This is a personalised and tutored plan that you will carry out in sports clubs, federations, educational institutions, gyms and similar entities in the sector that have been especially selected by the Faculty.

In your3rd year,, you will have the opportunity to get to know another social education learning context, either for one semester or a full academic year, thanks to our exchange programmes with leading Spanish and European universities.

The Bilbao campus houses a modern sports complex of more than 13,000 m². The sports infrastructure includes a two-storey building of 9,845 m², built under the football pitch.
The facilities include 3 paddle tennis courts, 3 multisports-basketball courts, 4 gyms, fitness room, 6 rooms for other activities, athletics track, etc.

You will have the option of completing your training with an interesting postgraduate and doctoral programme in the fields of Education and Health. This proposal will be even more complete by including the fields of Sports Management and Recreation in collaboration with Deusto Business School (DBS) and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.

You will find a close learning environment and personal tutoring from first to fourth year of study. Your tutor will guide you academically, personally and/or professionally. In addition, you will have a teaching team ready to guide you in any questions you may have throughout your studies.
