Choosing to study abroad in Bilbao is a decision that changed my life. From the people to the views to the food, it was beyond comparison. Bilbao is the perfect sized city that offers a small town feel with big city opportunities.

Lauren Munley

Bilbao has been one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and I can’t wait to go back and visit. The experiences I had on my study abroad trip are memories I will be holding with me forever.

Sophie Ahava

En el futuro quiero ser un médico bilingüe y trabajar algún lugar hispanohablante en el mundo. No tendría este sueño de ser un médico bilingüe sin mi verano en Bilbao y el impacto que ha tenido para mí.

Luke Siedhoff

Summer Program

Student in Kayak

My life in Bilbao was absolutely ideal. I lived with a host mom who helped me immensely improve my Spanish. My classes were engaging and forced me to leave my linguistic comfort zone.

Emily Johnson

Summer Program

Student on excursion

My fondest memories are of the friends I made and the places I visited. I really improved my Spanish when I was in Bilbao. I am a Spanish teacher at a primary school in Washington, D.C.

Ashley Leeman

My classes at University of Deusto gave me a good base to form phrases and understand conversations in Spanish. The most pleasant surprise was all that I learned about Spanish culture.
