CIDE offers a summer internship programme in which you will experience first-hand an approach to the world of work and the business environment in the Spanish context.
This is a learning and training experience. Students are expected to acquire professional awareness through observation, participation and analysis of professional activities and through interaction with peers in a working environment related to their field. It will take place in two different environments: a Spanish company, and the university, where students will be mentored by their internship supervisors. Both the in-company supervisor and their course coordinators will help students through their tasks.

Students from the USA who do not have a European Union passport do not need to apply for a visa for the summer programme. Under current rules, students may remain in Spain for the duration of the programme. They should bring a copy of their letter of admission to the programme and a copy of their insurance policy with them when they pass through customs.
If you are a student of another nationality, you should contact the nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate. It is your responsibility to find out if you need a student visa to come to Spain.
