We know that we learn from experience. Therefore, at Deusto, our starting point is students’ previous knowledge.

Learning needs not only to understand that theory but to put it into practice. To this end, activities, exercises, practices, projects and/or research work are carried out, where each student applies different skills.

The specialism in Physical Education provides the necessary knowledge to teach the subject of Physical Education in Primary Education.

Given the international nature of the degree, if you meet the requirements established by the Faculty, you will be able to access an international mobility experience.
In the case of double degree students, the mobility will be for one semester. This mobility will take place during the 3rd year of studies.
Among the mobility programmes for undergraduate students we can highlight the following: Erasmus +, SICUE and bilateral agreements.
In the Double Degree, you will do two Final Year Projects, one in the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences degree (6 ECTS) and one in the Primary Education degree (8 ECTS). They are compulsory and are defended publicly in the second semester of the fourth and fifth years. To enrol in 4th year, you must have completed, or at least enrolled for all of the core and compulsory subjects in the programme syllabus.
The Undergraduate Final Year Project is a report or original study that you will have to carry out individually under the supervision of a tutor, who will guide you and facilitate your learning.

It is important to know the regulations governing undergraduate degree programmes. They contain full information about the number of exam sessions you are allowed to sit, requirements to continue in the degree programme (minimum number of credits you must pass per year, moving on to the next year of study, maximum time allowed to complete the degree….), regulations for recognition of credits and the General Academic Regulations.
