Introductory session
Today's reality is characterised by the need for transformation processes at all levels: in the economic, political, social, religious, and personal spheres, among others. It arises from the need to ensure theworld’s sustainability and the construction of an inclusive and co-creative future.
Demanding solutions must be proposed, with novel and challenging perspectives on reality. In this regard, it is possible to create these drivers and processes of change based on an analysis of the figure of Jesus of Nazareth.
This course, run by the University of Deusto and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá, aims to explore various ways of doing and thinking about the world, taking the challenging life of Jesus of Nazareth as a starting point, in a joint dialogue that will help us to understand our current challenges. It also aims to raise questions that will be the cornerstones of future transformations.
An online course, combining: live videoconferences andindividual online work (forums, readings, videos and assignments).
Course dates to be confirmed.
The course is designed for all those interested in learning about the story of Jesus of Nazareth and delving into his life so as to bring it into contrast with our search for personal changes and transformations.
The Faculties of Theology at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá (Colombia) and the University of Deusto offer this course taught by professors from both institutions.
