The primary goal of this course, in line with the new programme, is totrain and prepare future teachers of religious education for Secondary and Baccalaureate Education, as well as for Intermediate Vocational Training, ensuring a high-quality Catholic religious and moral education.
According to the agreement of the 89th Plenary Assembly of the Spanish Episcopal Conference on the new regulation of the Ecclesiastical Declaration of Suitability (DEI), the requirements for accessing teaching in Catholic Religion and Moral Education in Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate Education, and Intermediate Vocational Training are outlined, based on candidates’ basic qualifications.
This DECA course for Secondary and Baccalaureate education is aimed at those holding a Baccalaureate in Theology, a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Baccalaureatus in Religious Sciences, and who have not completed the 18 ECTS credits in Religious Education Teaching as part of their curriculum.
