Bachelor's degree in Social Education

• 100% of the students have to carry out the professional practice in their 3rd and 4th years. It is one of the most important and weighted activities in the syllabus, 30 ECTS.
• Two personal tutors will guide you in your learning during this first direct contact with the professional world.

You will do it in the second semester of 3rd yearand it will give you your first work experience. You will join a centre or organisation and come into contact with professionals and users.

It will take place in both semesters of 4th year. It involves a comprehensive experience of integration in a centre or entity, in a specific field of professional intervention in social education.

You will participate in at least one ongoing socio-educational intervention project or activity so that you can start performing the basic functions of your professional profile:

• The contextualisation and meaning of socio-educational work.
• Building educational relationships with programme participants.
• Communication and collaboration with professionals.
• Planning and leading socio-educational activities.
• Personal/professional self-knowledge.

Here you will perform a range of functions and tasks at an advanced level, including:

• The rationale of socio-educational practice.
• In-depth study of educational relationships in a process-oriented way.
• Coordinated work with other professionals within teams.
• The design, implementation and evaluation of socio-educational processes.
• The design and management of professional projects.

The Faculty of Psychology and Education has more than 50 internship centres so that you can choose according to your interests.
