Internships complement theoretical and practical classroom learning.

They promotes social interaction in companies and institutions thanks to the coexistence with the members of the organisation.
They help students achieve real-world understanding of the workplaces where they will have to perform, demonstrating and applying the acquired knowledge.
They enrich their interpersonal relationships through their interaction with the members of the host organisation where the internship is completed.
They enable students to gain practical experience that will help them broaden their skills and enter the job market.

Two tutors (one from the host organisation where the internships are held and a university tutor) will supervise students’ progress throughout the internship period. They will report on their progress regarding the general and the specific competences assigned to the internship.

Internships are undertaken in companies, organisations, public and private bodies from various sectors. This first work experience is an ideal opportunity for them to demonstrate their professional abilities and enrich their curriculum vitae.

New internship agreements with companies are signed each year so that all students can benefit from this experience. There are many internship options in companies and institutions, and they are being constantly adapted to the changing economic environment.
There are many options to access a Master's degree and they vary depending on the pathway you have taken.
In addition, if teachingis your vocation, you can access the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, which qualifies you to teach.

The profiles related to Governance in companies, the third sector or public administration are the natural placement for our graduates.
The Deusto Alumni Association also assists graduates in entering the job market, offering them guidance and legal advice on employment. We will also assist you in developing your entrepreneurial spirit and, if you wish so, we will help you implement your business ideas.
Furthermore, we organise the Job Forum every year, giving you the opportunity to meet employers, submit your CV, attend presentations, seminars and workshops and even take part in job selection processes.
