According to Lanbide, the unemployment rate among medical graduates is less than 1%. According to INE (Spanish Institute for National Statistics), the medical profession is the profession with the second lowest unemployment rate in Spain (out of a total of almost 200 professions), also with figures close to 1%.
To facilitate the transition from university to the professional world, the University of Deusto has the Deusto Alumniservice.
In 1stº and 2nd year of the degree,º you will have pre-clinical laboratory practice with patients and simulation exercises in the Virtual Hospital. You will also have the experience of going to emergency services.
From 3rdº to 6th year,º you will carry out clinical practicals with patients in real-life settings. You will accompany medical professionals in their day-to-day medical practice, rotating through different clinical specialties.
The Faculty and the health centre will be responsible for the accompaniment, defining the learning outcomes, tutoring the experience and giving training feedback to students.
