David Fernández Rojo, professor at the University of Deusto, is taking part in the pairing programme between scientists and MPs organised by the Office of Science and Technology (Oficina C) of the Congress of Deputies.

Professor David Fernandez Rojo took part in the programme for matching scientists and MPs organised by the Office of Science and Technology (Office C) of the Congress of Deputies. The Office of Science and Technology (Oficina C) aims to facilitate dialogue between the scientific community and policymakers to contribute to informed decision-making. The matching programme is one of the channels to facilitate this dialogue.

This year, the Office of Science and Technology (Oficina C) selected Professor David Fernández-Rojo, along with nine other scientists from Spanish universities and research centres, from among 220 candidates. The programme took place on 11, 12 and 13 November at Spanish parliament. Those selected undertook a shadowing experience with the MP assigned by the Office C, and attended the presentation of this year's C Reports, and C Dialogues.

Professor David Fernandez Rojo works in the field of international law. One of his research areas is the management of migration flows and the protection of asylum seekers, a topic closely aligned with the objectives of the pairing programme between scientists and MPs.
