The Faculty of Education and Sport of the University of Deusto is holding a masterclass on Wednesday November 27 to celebrate the 2nd Technical Conference on physical-sports innovation, which this year will deal with the topic of “Performance in cycling”.
The event, which will be held in the Ellacuría room from 10:00 to 12:00, will feature three speakers who are among the most prominent physical trainers in professional cycling: Xabier Artetxe, current Head Coach of Ineos Grenadiers; Xabier Muriel, Head of Performance of the Movistar Team; and Aritz Arberas, Cycling Coach of Lidl Trek.
These three professionals of cycling will share their experiences with the students of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences following a round table format chaired by Itziar Urquijo, director of the continuous education area of the Faculty of Education and Sport. Among those attending the masterclass will also be Pablo Castrillo, regarded as the best Spanish rider of the Vuelta a España 2024 and winner of two stages.
