Professor Begoña Cava participates in Commemorative and Recognition Ceremony of the Real Sociedad Bascongada de Amigos del País

The historian and Deusto professor Begoña Cava will participate in the Commemorative and Recognition Ceremony by the RSBAP to the General Assembly of Bizkaia and its Presidency that will take place on Tuesday, November 26 at 18:00h in the Conference Room of the General Assembly of Bizkaia. The professor, as Friend of the Real Sociedad Bascongada de Amigos del País, will be in charge of the opening speech that will inaugurate the event, entitled “260 years of the Enlightenment Project (1760-2024)”.

After Begoña Cava's speech, the General Assembly of Bizkaia will be named Collective Friend and its president, Ana Otadui, will be named Honorary Friend. The event will close with the conference “The Basque Country in History: the contemporary cycle” by Juan Pablo Fusi Aizpurua, Full Member of the Royal Academy of History. The event is free and open to the public.
