The University's Nursing students have joined the solidarity campaign “Care for your heart, share life”, an IMQ initiative which, as part of the commemoration of its 90th anniversary, seeks to raise awareness in Basque society about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death in the world.
In this regard, on October 9, Deusto students were taking the blood pressure of those who wished to do so at an information point which, as part of the campaign, will be located until October 20 on Ercilla Street in Bilbao. The aim of this space is to provide the population with ample and rigorous information, as well as to make visible the importance of identifying and acting early to avoid the serious consequences of this type of pathology.
