1.
Having access to the industrial employment market at local and international level under the best conditions. The employability of automation engineers is very high (over 90% in three months) and the trend is similar or higher.
2.
MUAECI offers you the opportunity to carry out an internship in a company that will allow you not only to get to know the working environment better, but also to show your own skills in order to start your professional career.
3.
Acquiring specialised technical training highly valued by leading national and international industrial companies.
4.
Participating and getting involved in the technological change towards Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. The training acquired enables the direct integration of engineering graduates in the company, and above all their technological leadership in new manufacturing paradigms.
5.
Using the Faculty’s laboratories for the resolution of successive technological challenges, using mostly industrial equipment, and not simple teaching replicas. More than 50% of the training will be held in the laboratories.
6.
Learning to be an engineer through «learning by doing»: working regularly in groups to tackle complex cross-cutting projects. The Master's projects will integrate knowledge from several subjects under a PBL (Project Based Learning) approach, and will not be isolated units for each subject.
7.
The Master’s course allows access to a research career and doctoral studies. In accordance with Royal Decree 99/2011, the completion of this master's degree gives direct access to an official doctoral programme, and particularly to those related to engineering and technology.
8.
Complementing technical training with other transversal skills recognised by companies: group work, oral and written skills, problem-solving, etc., which make it possible to deal with the complexity of day-to-day life in an integrated way.
9.
Undertaking the challenge of setting up a company. Society is increasingly rewarding and encouraging young people to take up the challenge of dreaming up their own company, in this case a technology company. All of this through the services of the University of Deusto: business incubator, consultancy, funding support, etc.
10.
This master’s degree allows you to change your professional path, without previous studies being a hindrance. All engineers will be supported by the academic staff during their adaptation to the technical level of the Master’s.
The Committee will consider the conclusions of the report from the Curriculum Adaptation Unit and the Social Work Service at the University to ensure the same opportunities for access and the acquisition of key competences in order to be awarded the degree.
