The complexity of orthodontics lies in the need for long-term treatment monitoring and progress tracking. This is precisely what empowers future orthodontists and adds value to their job opportunities.
In this teaching programme, you will be given the opportunity to deal with and monitor progress of the cases assigned to you. You will be supervised by the teaching staff, whom you will also have the opportunity to address and resolve any concerns that may arise during the 3 years of your training.
Students on the Master's programme will carry out clinical practice (more than 50% of the total hours) with patients right from the start, and throughout the entire Deusto Orthodontic Programme (DOP).
Clinical practice with patients are carried out in a clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology and with the quality guarantees of the IMQ group. In addition, the DOP includes the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of orthognathic surgery patients, and students will be given the opportunity to observe in operating theatre at the IMQ Zorrozaure Hospital.
