Deusto Orthodontic Programme (DOP) meets the requirements of the European guidelines for the recognition of the Orthodontics specialty. These guidelines are contained in the Network of Erasmus Based European Orthodontic Programs (Nebeop).
This is a comprehensive programme that encompasses both theory and practice, including diagnosis and monitoring of cases through to their completion. The model we present is made up of two consecutive Masters’ degrees (Continuing Education) and Advanced Training in Orthodontics, which is taken concurrently with the second one:
Course fees: 18.500 € /year.
An interdisciplinary teaching team with extensive teaching and clinical experience. You will find teaching staff from different geographical areas, ages and backgrounds so that you can benefit from the diversityin the sector. All of them have outstanding scientific rigour and a university nature.
Face-to-face classes 1 week per month,and additional training to be carried out each day for the remaining days. In this way, students can continue their development in patient care as healthcare professionals and broaden their knowledge of Dentistry and Orthodontics.
In only 3 years, you will gain full training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, and you will earn a Master's degree worth 192 ECTS, based on the European Specialty Curriculum.
Students on the Master's programme will carry out clinical practice with patientsin the state-of-the-art facilities of theIMQ group(more than 50% of the total number of hours) right from the start of the course.

Deusto Orthodontic Programme (DOP) consists of the Clinical Master’s Degree in Orthodontics (Continuing Education), the Master’s Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (Continuing Education)and Advanced Training in Orthodontics. The programme lasts three academic years.
Dentists and stomatology specialists, or a degree certificate issued by a higher education institution from a Member State of the European Higher Education Area which gives access to Master’s degree programmes in the issuing country.
IMQ Group Dental Clinics
An orthodontic treatment requires a correct diagnosis, the application of appropriate mechanics and a thorough understanding of the biological principles of tooth movement and bone response to orthodontic forces.
This programme equips its graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with the day-to-day work in the specialty of orthodontics.
Training to obtain accreditation at national level.
It combines the cases at the university with those at the student’s workplace.
Training in the scientific method and research and teaching projects.
Being familiar with the market, the options available, and gaining a sound understanding of the current materials and techniques is another key to clinical success.
