It addresses new challenges in automation and robotics

    About the Bachelor’s degree

Do youwant to lead the transformation of today's industry by applying the latest trends in robotics?

Robotics is transforming the world on a global scale, causing a revolution that goes beyond the industrial sector, affecting all areas of society. You could be the key player in this revolution. The application of artificial intelligence technologies in robotics enables levels of automation never seen before in production lines.

The advancement of robotics in sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, and even in the development of household tasks, will bring about huge changes in both work and personal environments.

In the future, drones will handle home deliveries, robots will assist in surgeries, and factories will operate without human assistance... This degree will allow you to specialise in the key technologies for this transformation.

    Partnership

Collaboration with Salesians Deusto and Barakaldo

This bachelor’s degree is taught in collaboration with Salesianos Deusto, located on Avenida Lehendakari Aguirre in Bilbao. The collaboration between these two entities, both national benchmarks for the quality of their laboratories, will allow students to experiment with state-of-the art technology, which is key in an engineering degree that provides a unique specialisation in automation, electronics and robotics.

You will learn how to use and design different robot modelsWHY CHOOSE THIS DEGREE?

What does this degree offer me?

This degree trains professionals with an expert profile in industrial electronics, automation and robotics. This degree focuses on the main technologies that enable the development of automation and robotics projects in industrial and service scenarios. The curriculum consists of a full pathway specifically covering the technologies that contribute to the profile from its theoretical foundations to the highest level of specialisation.

What is the strategic value of robotics?

The integration of robotics in industry, traditionally limited to specific sectors such as the automotive industry, is becoming one of the fundamental pillars of the future development of society in fields as diverse as health, transport, agriculture and, of course, industry. New technologies such as artificial intelligence or collaborative robotics allow us to take robotics to new scenarios with infinite possibilities.

What kind of training does it offer?

An exceptional practical training achieved in the laboratories, where you will have the opportunity to experiment by developing real projects that endorse theoretical knowledge. You will be able to take the dual pathway in 3rd and 4th years (60 ECTS), and will acquire knowledge and skills directly in the company while you are pursuing your degree.

    Learning by doing

Work-oriented training through intensive use of world-class laboratories equipped by industry-leading manufacturers. Robotics and artificial vision laboratories, intelligent manufacturing laboratory...

    High job prospects

Specialised training in one of the areas with the greatest future prospects in the local and international sphere. Robotics is among the areas with the greatest employment prospects.

If you are a higher vocational training student...

Some of the subjects of your Vocational Training degree may be recognised. Once we have assessed your academic record, if 60 ECTS creditscan be recognised, you will be able to complete your studies in 3 years.
