The 30 ECTS credits offered as electives in fourth year include the option to earn 6 ECTS by completing an internship in professional environments.
Internships enable students to acquire skills and competences in real-world scenarios which are closely related to their future career.
One tutor from the host organisation and a university tutor will supervise students’ progress throughout the internship period, and report on their progress regarding the general and the specific competences that have been assigned.
In companies, institutions, public and private organisations in Spain and in some cases abroad.
This first work experience is an ideal opportunity for them to show their professional aptitudes and, in any case, to enhance their curriculum vitae.
Internships enable our students to appreciate the added value they are able to bring to a real working team.
My experience was twofold; I was lucky enough to do an internship in a Consulate and in a research office.

the internship is a complement to the theoretical and practical teaching acquired in the classroom that favours the development of technical, methodological, personal and participatory skills.

They help students’ to achieve real-world understanding of the workplaces where they will have to perform, demonstrating and applying the acquired knowledge.
