You will learn the principles of design, business management and how to master the tools of graphic representation to express your ideas and, specifically, you will lay the foundations for technological engineering, through mathematical, physical, mechanical and chemical fundamentals.
You will enter the professional practice of Industrial Design, carrying out projects for companies; you will incorporate new methodologies and knowledge of ergonomics, marketing, aesthetics, innovation and digital manufacturing in the Deusto FabLab. In parallel, you will learn about manufacturing processes, material behaviour, project management and product engineering.
You will develop your Undergraduate Final Year Project and will have the opportunity to spend an academic semester abroad. Furthermore, you will be able to do an internship in a company and define your own pathway through elective subjects such as foresight, trends, eco-design and sustainability.

International mobility and integration in multicultural and multilingual teams is a key factor for today's engineers. The European Higher Education Area aims to create a space that facilitates student mobility as a key element in their training process.
The project is compulsory and is carried out in the second semester of the fourth year. It will enable students to approach and carry out a project proposal along with its feasibility study and the design and/or development of the project.
To register for this project, students must have successfully completed, or at least enrolled for, all of the core and compulsory subjects on the programme.
The University has Deusto FabLab, a laboratory for digital manufacturing with 3D printers, backed by the MIT
