The University of Deusto and Sustabiz Fundazioa signed on November 6 an educational collaboration agreement to promote Basque rural sports, Basque pelota and rowing at the university level, through training and scientific research. The dean of the Faculty of Education and Sport, Isabel Rubio Florido, and the director of Sustabiz, Joseba Etxebarria Elgezabal, formalized this agreement that underlines the commitment of both institutions to the Basque cultural and sporting heritage.

This agreement aims to strengthen the ties between the two institutions through initiatives of shared interest, which will allow the students of the This will allow students of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and the double degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and Primary Education to explore and acquire knowledge about traditional Basque sports and to participate in training activities, dissemination and various events related to these Basque sports.
