The European Research Executive Agency (REA) has selected Aitor Goti, a professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto, as a member of its Steel Advisory Group (SAG).
The REA is an agency of the European Union that funds research and innovation. It manages EU research grants. The REA manages research projects funded by Horizon Europe, the world's largest framework program for research and innovation.
Within the REA, the SAG advises on the development, coherence, and objectives of the steel sector research program, as well as on project evaluation and selection.
Aitor will begin his 'exciting' 42-month journey as a member of the SAG on May 1st and will hold the group's first coordination meeting on May 12th.
