On the 14th, 15th and 16th of January, 2025, at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Madrid, Spain) took place the learning/teaching/training (LTT) activities event corresponding to the HealthTek project within the framework of Erasmus+ programme. The main objective of this European project is to develop a gamified virtual platform, HealthTek, for the training of biomedical engineering and medical students.
The HealthTEK platform is structured in units ranging from biomechanics to genomics, including content on biosensors, health 4.0 or anatomy and physiology. The units include video tutorials and self-assessment tests for autonomous learning, as well as a gamification (video game) as a compilation activity. The coordinator is the eVIDA team from the University of Deusto (Spain) and the partners are Bialystok University of Technology (Poland), ESTIA Institute of Technology (France) and University Francisco de Vitoria (Spain).
The three-day event combined informative presentations, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions, fostering strong partnerships among the participants. The mix of familiar and new attendees enhanced the diversity of perspectives, and the agenda offered a well-balanced combination of structured learning and interactive feedback sessions. This collaborative environment helped lay the groundwork for the effective implementation of the HealthTEK platform.
