Deusto Cities Lab Chair, in collaboration with the Basque Government and the University of the Basque Country, organises a summer course around the design of the Basque Cities 4.0 Initiative. The event will be held in Donostia-San Sebastián on 27-28 June 2019.
This initiative will foster the implementation of the Basque Industry 4.0 Strategy and the Agenda 2030 at the level of cities and sustainable urban development. Experts from different backgrounds will analyse the status of smart cities in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals, the Europe 2030 Strategy, European Urban Agenda and the New Urban Agenda.
Inspiring practices from cities all over the world will be presented in the event, as well as the institutions, the industry and the citizens’ experiences around smart cities. Deusto Cities Lab Chair will present the report that has grounded the basis and initial proposal for the Basque Cities 4.0 Initiative roadmap.
