The entry requirements for the Expert Diploma include holding an official Spanish university degree, or another qualification issued by a higher education institution within the European Higher Education Area that allows entry to Expert Diploma-level studies in health sciences or social sciences in the issuing country.

Graduates with degrees from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area are also eligible for these programmes without needing to have their degree certificate officially recognised, provided they have prior approval from the University of Deusto confirming that their studies are equivalent to official Spanish degrees and are valid for entry into postgraduate programmes in the issuing country.

According to current legislation, admission through this route does not entail, under any circumstances, the recognition or equivalence of the prior qualification held by the applicant, nor does it imply any recognition for purposes other than pursuing these Expert studies.

In addition to the entry requirements established in the current legislation and student profile described above, applicants are required to have a positive evaluation for admission to the Expert Diploma course. This evaluation will be carried out in a personal interview prior to admission. The following criteria will be taken into account:
 

• Relevant prior undergraduate field of study related to the Expert Diploma course.
• Curriculum Vitae: prior postgraduate or continuing education related to the Diploma, professional experience, and volunteering…
• Motivation to pursue this academic programme and availability.
• Professional goals, attitudes, and values aligned with the career for which the programme qualifies.
• Self-awareness, openness to personal and group knowledge, responsibility, and commitment to the task at hand.

• Enrolment formduly completed and signed.
• 2 photographs: Two original identity card-sized photographs with full name on the back.
• ID No.: A certified photocopy (or photocopy and the original to check authenticity).
• Entry qualification: Undergraduate degree, bachelor's degree (licenciatura), engineering degree, diploma, technical engineering degree, or equivalent. A certified copy, or photocopy and original for verification (UD graduates are exempt from providing this).
• Academic transcript of undergraduate studies, bachelor's degree (licenciatura), engineering degree, diploma, technical engineering degree, or equivalent. A certified copy, or photocopy and original for verification (UD graduates are exempt from providing this).
