    Nerea Aranbarri Kortabarria. Architect, Master’s Degree in International Planning and Sustainable Development, Lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. Director of the Erasmus Mundus RePIC (Re-designing the Post-Industrial City) Joint Master's Degree, member of the Deusto Cities Lab Chair.

    Her research focuses on the governance of integrated sustainable urban development and urban living laboratories as a means of promoting integrated urban regeneration processes in the context of human development.

    She has developed her career in the design and drafting of urban plans, strategic planning and urban regeneration strategies in both Spain and the UK.

     

    Guidance and resources

    They are designed to help answer queries or problems related to the understanding of the various subjects in each course, as well as to provide guidance and follow-up on the activities and assignments to be completed.

    Subject tutorials: these are carried out by the lecturers delivering each subject. Their aim is to answer any queries that may arise when carrying out the assessment exercises requested by the lecturers. A calendar of face-to-face tutorials is available, the dates of which can be consulted in the calendar.

    Master’s Final Project Tutorials: These tutorials will be held by the lecturer/tutor assigned to each student to assist with preparation of the Master's Final Project. The schedules and calendars will be planned in advance with each tutor. Attendance to these tutorials is compulsory.

    The University offers a University Guidance Service to provide support to its students. This service offers:

    • Specialised educational and psychological consultationto deal with any difficulties that students may encounter.
    • Specialised courses to facilitate and complete the learning process (study techniques, anxiety control techniques, public speaking, job search techniques, etc.).
    • Curricular Adaptation Unit.

    Students with special needs have the support of this Student Guidance Service, in coordination with the Master's Programme Director, who will be responsible for ensuring that these students are properly integrated into this postgraduate programme (teaching/learning, research, internships and social network).

    Foreign students may also receive assistance from the International Relations Office to help them during this initial stage of the programme. The office offers information and permanent assistance for:
