    Company internships

    Internships in companies and internal services at the University of Deusto, allowing students to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in real-world employment settings.

    The internships will take place over two academic years in mainstream companies, with which collaboration agreements will have been established in advance.

    The internship schedule will consist of 4 hours per day, and will be agreed upon with the company. The internships will be based on the Supported Employment Methodology.

    Ongoing support

    4 main support professionals

    In this programme, students will have 4 main support professionals:

    • Internship coordinator. A professional representing the University of Deusto (or GAUDE Association), who makes the initial contact with the company, manages the signing of the agreement, supervises the overall internship process, and coordinates the team of internal and external professionals involved in the learning process.
    • Internship tutor. A professional representing the University of Deusto (or GAUDE Association), whose duties will include supervising and supporting students during their internships from the university.
    • Job coach. A support person who accompanies students during their internship process, promoting and facilitating their social and professional inclusion, providing the necessary support for their adaptation to the workplace.
    • Workplace supervisor. A key contact at the internship company, who guides the learning process and supervises the development of the established competences.
