    Undergraduate Final Year Project

    null

    Undergraduate Final Year Project

The project is compulsory and is carried out in the second semester of the fourth year. It will enable students to approach and carry out a project proposal along with its feasibility study and the design and/or development of the project.

To register for this project, students must have successfully completed, or at least enrolled for, all of the core and compulsory subjects on the programme.

Open your eyes to the world

    Build your international profile

You will be able to study part of your Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in English.

If you study at least 40% of the credits in English and can prove that you have a C1 level, the University of Deusto will certify your language proficiency in this language. The procedure for accrediting C1 will be by means of an equivalent official qualification or by passing an internal University of Deusto test.

You can combine subjects in Spanish, English and Basque. A wide range of subjects in English and Basque so that you can choose your language path.

You can opt to study a full semester at a foreign university. Choose your destination from more than 90 foreign universities around the world.

An opportunity to share experiences with students from all over the world. You will enjoy an international classroom environment from the 1st year onwards.

International mobility and integration in multicultural and multilingual teams is a key factor for today's engineers. The European Higher Education Area aims to create a space that facilitates student mobility as a key element in their training process.

Dual education has 3 main processes

    Student placement, follow-up and assessment

    1.

    Student placement

The aim is to maximise student motivation in alignment with the interests of businesses, ensuring that a student secures a placement with a company of their interest while the company benefits from a student whose profile matches their needs.

    2.

    Student follow-up

Each student will be supported by an academic tutor and a company tutor, who will meet periodically with the student to review the progress of the dual education programme based on the personalised activity plan.

    3.

    Student assessment

Assessment is shared between the subject lecturer and the two placement mentors, ensuring that both the competences developed by the student during the company placement, the personalised activity plan, and the technical competences related to the subject are assessed.
