From general knowledge to specialisationYour training and internships

    Year 1

You will acquire the core knowledge and skills common to all engineering degrees in areas such as mathematics, physics, technical drawing and programming. You will also begin to see how companies work.

    Years 2 and 3

You will become familiar with production processes, the materials used and techniques for modelling, optimising and automating them. In your 3rd year of study you will start to apply the best methods to organise teams of people, plan manufacturing and logistics properly and tackle new business and innovation processes. The dual pathway will run concurrently.

    Year 4

You will develop your Undergraduate Final Year Project and have the opportunity to spend an academic semester abroad. Furthermore, you will have the option to do an internship in a company and define your own pathway through the choice of electives.

Study and work at the same timeDual pathway

    How do I do this?

If you choose this pathway and you meet the requirements, you will acquire knowledge and skills directly in the company, at the same time as you study the degree. You can complete the dual programme in 3rd and 4th year of study (60 ECTS).

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

You will put into practice what you have learnt and acquire new knowledge outside the classroom. The academic staff at the university and your tutors at the partner companies will jointly supervise you throughout the course.

FACE REAL CHALLENGES IN A COMPANY

You will get to know the company and the projects before you finish your degree and you will be able to accelerate your immersion in the work environment.

    Undergraduate Final Year Project

The last semester of the programme you will be working on the Undergraduate Final Year Project in a company.

    Join

multidisciplinary working groups and incorporate the ethical dimension in your decisions. More than 50 companies are part of the Deusto Dual Training ecosystem.

    Study while you work

The activity in the company will be remunerated and have a professional contract

To register for this project, students must have successfully completed, or at least enrolled for, all of the core and compulsory subjects on the programme.

Open your eyes to the world

    Build your international profile

You will be able to study part of your Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Organisatin Engineering in English.

If you study at least 40% of the credits in English and can prove that you have a C1 level, the University of Deusto will certify your language proficiency in this language. The procedure for accrediting C1 will be by means of an equivalent official qualification or by passing an internal University of Deusto test.

You can combine subjects in Spanish, English and Basque. A wide range of subjects in English and Basque so that you can choose your language path.

You can also study a full semester at a foreign university. Choose your destination from more than 90 foreign universities worldwide.
