University of Deusto

Diversity Unit

The Diversity Unit serves as a space for guidance, support, information, and advice on the higher education rights of students with educational needs and LGBTI+ students.

It is part of the UD's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda, and falls within the framework of Organic Law 2/2023 of 22 March on the University System.

The Diversity Unit works, in collaboration with other universities and external organisations, to facilitate the full inclusion of students who may experience difficulties in accessing or remaining at university due to physical, organic, mental, intellectual, sensory, gender identity, sexual orientation, or gender expression-related reasons.
