- Session 1 (16 May): Los Subaltern Studies y un viraje posmoderno
- Session 2 (23 May): Los Cuadernos de la cárcel y una nueva perspectiva sobre el mundo popular
- Time: 11:30 – 13:30
- Venue: Room A301, Edificio Centenario, 3rd floor

The idea for this seminar arises from the desire and need to create a space for collective knowledge, thus breaking with the individual and solitary work involved in doctoral studies. This seminar aims is to critically and jointly reflect on Antonio Gramsci's concept of subalternity and subaltern classes, though guided readings.
The seminar will be coordinated and run by Fabio Frosini, senior researcher at the University of Urbino (Italy). He is author, among others, of books such as Gramsci y la Filosofía, De Gramsci a Marx, La religión del hombre moderno or Verdad y políticas en los "Cuadernos de la cárcel" de A. Gramsci, as well as countless articles; he is one of the most important researchers of the so-called "young generation" of Gramsci scholars both in Italy and internationally.
Please confirm attendance by 8 May in this link. A certificate of attendance will be issued.
Pre-readings will be sent to those registered for each session.
