Rodrigo Sánchez Lecanda (Pr. 2008), Head of Supplier Development and the Iparlat SUMA Project delivered a practical class on the impact of strategic changes in the business.
On 16 March, he explained to first year students on the Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration + Leadership Development and double degree programmes (Business Administration + Law and Engineering) why change is necessary in a business, taking the organisational changes in Iparlat as his example. He referred both to customer strategy as well as the firm's own strategic changes. His class was set within the framework of the subject entitled “Business Organisation”.
He used an extremely practical methodology to present the reasons behind the SUMA Project and its structure. His starting point was the project driven by Mercadona to transform the relationship between all the links in the food sector chain to achieve greater efficiency and generate growth in the primary sector that guarantees its sustainability.
He also explained the organisational development which had resulted from reflection on strategy.
