HUEM celebrates 10 years of training professionals in Humanities and business administration

The Degree in Humanities: Management, pioneer in Spain, celebrates 10 years of training professionals in Humanities and business administration.To commemorate this anniversary, the Faculty of Humanities has organised several events and conferences. Among the main achievements ofHUEM project, we should mention its success among the business world today, which has resulted in a high rate of employability. This is what can be inferred from the report carried out by Zabalgune, the department for labour market insertion at the Faculty.

HUEM, with a total of 6 groups of graduates in the job market and 4 groups of undergraduates at university, has full support from the business world. According to a report carried out by Zabalgune, the department for labour market insertion at the Faculty of Humanities, 93% of the first three groups of graduates are currently employed. This figure can be compared to other related university degrees in the business field, which have a high level of labour insertion.

The Faculty has organised several events to celebrate this anniversary. The first took place last 5 May, and it was attended by Koldo Saratxaga, general ex-coordinator of Irizar coach company. In his lecture on "Un nuevo estilo de relaciones. Cómo realizar el cambio necesario en las organizaciones", he stressed the importance of relying on the individual, and of establishing a type of management based not so much on elements of an economical nature, but on those which are more emotional and intangible.
