On 31 October, a group of students from the Erasmus Mundus Master's in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) visited the Basque Agency for Cooperation and Solidarity – Elankidetza, as part of their academic programme.
During the visit, the students were welcomed by Paul Ortega, Director of the Agency, who guided them through the facilities and provided an in-depth overview of Elankidetza's work in the field of international cooperation. Additionally, Pilar Diez Arregi, Head of the Humanitarian Action Unit, and Noemí de la Fuente, Coordinator of Strategy, Planning, and Evaluation, shared their experiences and explained their roles in humanitarian action and international cooperation.
The students were accompanied on the visit by Maite Sagasti, Coordinator of the NOHA Master's programme, and Gorka Urrutia, Professor of the programme and Director of the Human Rights Institute, who oversaw the activity and facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the students and the Elankidetza professionals.
This meeting allowed the students to gain first-hand insight into the processes and projects of cooperation carried out by the agency, enriching their training in the field of humanitarian action.
