380 students participated in this year's edition of the Donostia Innovation Challenge. This is a space in which students train skills linked to innovation and in which they research solutions, undertake projects and solve challenges posed to improve the quality of life of citizens.
The aim of this initiative is to use technology at the service of people to improve their quality of life.
Marisol Garmendia, Councillor for Economic Promotion of the Donostia-San Sebastián City Council, was in charge of presenting the awards in the different categories. "You are the present but you are marking the future, your future. The fact that you participate in improving your own living conditions and those of the rest of the citizens is very important and is to be welcomed. Your ideas do not fall on deaf ears. I am convinced that sooner rather than later they will become a reality", said Garmendia, who thanked all the young people for their involvement.
