Deusto Business Alumni held a lunch-colloquium with Antón Pradera, president of CIE Automotive, on October 9 at the CRAI Library, in cooperation with Deloitte. Íñigo Úrculo, partner in Deloitte Zona Norte, hosted the conversation with the speaker, under the title “Transformation of the automotive sector in times of uncertainty”.

During the talk, Pradera alluded to the current state of the European automotive sector and expressed his concern regarding its competitiveness. He also spoke about EU strategies and policies for the energy transition and denounced the lack of battery recharging networks sufficiently reliable to guarantee the transition from combustion to electric engines by the year 2035 in the European Union.
