Professor of Financial and Tax Law at the University of Deusto (Schoolof Law and Deusto Business School). He is also lecturer on International Taxation at the LLM in International Legal Studies at the University of Deusto, at the Master's Degree in Taxation and Tax Consulting at the University of the Basque Country and at the Master's Degree in Taxation at the ORT University of Uruguay. He has been Professor of Financial Law at the Universities of Cantabria (Faculty of CCEE and EE) and the Basque Country (School of Law) and taught courses on International Taxation at the Free University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), University of Essex (United Kingdom ), Riga Graduate School of Law (Latvia), Immanuel Kant State University of Kaliningrad, (Russia), Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributario, Sao Paulo (Brazil) as well as at the International Tax Academy of the IBFD in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Accredited by UNIBASQ in the categories of Associate Professor, Adjunct Professor and Doctor Professor of Private University. He is recognized by the Advisory Committee of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Investigative Activity (CNEAI) for a Sexennium of Investigation (2011-2016 both inclusive) for his publications, especially in matters of International Taxation.Graduated in Law with a Specialist Diploma in Economics, University of Deusto. PhD in Law, University of the Basque Country and Master’s degree in Advanced International Taxation, University of Leiden in The Netherlands. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Universities of Cambrdige (Diploma in English Legal Methods), Harvard (Program of Instruction for Lawyers PIL, and Program on Negotiation, PON), and Columbia (Diploma in American Law). Attorney-at-law, he has been legal adviser of the IBERDROLA Group, and currently Of Counsel at LEGALKIDE Abogados, SLP.
