Beatriz Galán Espiga holds a BSc in Information Technology and a PhD in Information Technology from the University of Deusto. She is currently Senior Lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus. Her teaching activity focuses mainly on BSc courses in Information Technology, Industrial Organisation Engineering, Industrial Technical Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering and Technical Engineering in Telecommunications. Specifically, she teaches the following subjects: Calculus I on all degree courses referred to above, Algebra and Calculus 2 on the joint degree in Industrial Technical Engineering and Business Administration and Management, and Data Bases on the degree in Information Technology. She also runs continuous In recent years she has worked in pedagogic innovation. She is also involved with helping new students to adapt via tutorials and is in charge of ensuring that everything runs smoothly for students on advanced level courses.
