Asunción Fernández-Villarán Ara holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration and a PhD in Economics and Business Administration (Advanced Management) from the University of Deusto. She currently works as Lecturer with PhD at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus. She teaches BA courses in Tourism. Specifically, she teaches the following subjects on BA courses: Accounting Analysis and Tourism Marketing Management. In recent years she has been working on business management and organisation and tourist destinations, tourism intermediation, tourism for all, and on innovation in tourism.
