PhD in Medicine, specialism in Psychiatry, she has over twenty years' experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She also holds the position of Head of Child and Youth Psychiatry at Basurto University Hospital (Bilbao). Ms. Fernández leads the team on Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (psychotherapy for adolescents) at the above hospital. She has broad experience in clinical research on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, in addition to consultations.
